Artistic Practices
Welcome to a small gallery of art I have created throughout the years, of which I deem my favorite pieces!
This showcases my ability to adapt and learn different artistic media(s).
I hope you enjoy! To the right you can read about a project I did in my Color Photography class, that is featured here.

The Drowning Man
The Drowning Man was a project I participated in, in my Color Photography class with the prompt 'Something you're passionate about". I grew up in a working class/blue collar family, where we struggled to live sometimes- and growing up this way I learned to be very thankful for the small things we did have. To the left is a photo of a chair in front of various photos that show beautiful landscapes, in a dirty, sometimes too cold and sometimes too hot of a warehouse. This is crucial, because of the irony of it- and relation to the song Drowning Man by Eric Church, which this shoot is inspired by. Specifically the lyrics; "Don't tell me about no beach; Don't wanna hear about your mountain; How the good life is a peach; You drink your sunsets from a fountain; No I don't wanna think about it; Save your breath, I don't wanna hear about it" This song talks about the blue collar industry and highlights some of what they go through. Enjoy the portrait highlights below that show my father and his coworkers in their work environment.
